We’re building something weird, wild, and proudly Cajun — and we need your help to bring it to life.

The Fois is a low-budget, independent horror-comedy filming in and around Lafayette, LA. We're looking for talented, creative, and enthusiastic people to join us. Whether you want to act, help behind the scenes, offer up a location, or lend your music — this is your chance to be part of the madness.

Who We're Looking For

Actors & Extras – We still have a number of roles to fill, including supporting characters, and old paw paw, background party guests, gumbo judges, and ghostly maw maw figures. We’re flexible on age, gender, and look — if you’re a good fit, we’ll find a place for you or even write a part for you.

Crew & Volunteers – Looking for crew, production assistants, BTS shooters, set help, makeup, and more.

Musicians – Original Cajun, folk, zydeco, or just something that fits the swampy tone. Feature your music or perhaps a role in the film.

Location Owners – Waterfront locations and Cajun style locations needed. We need a cajun camp (preferably waterfront) as the main location. We also need bars, restaurants, and anything South Louisiana.

Props, & Wardrobe – Got something Cajun, strange, or vintage?

Sponsors & Local Businesses – Local brands, restaurants, and businesses are welcome to join the madness. Feature your product, donate food or drinks, or use your place as a filming location.

This is a non-union, no-budget film. Unless crowdfunding goes really well we can can't pay you, but we can offer a real creative experience, IMDb credit, meals on set, behind-the-scenes content, and a final feature film that will absolutely get finished.
